What Are You Most Passionate About?

I am passionate about nutrition. It is my life goal to educate others on the benefits of a nutrient dense diet. I want to help others live healthy, lose weight, prevent illness, and just overall feel better on a daily basis.

Who Is Your Hero? Why?

My hero is my mother, Cindy. She passed away from colon cancer when she was 42, and I was 17 years old. When she was diagnosed, the doctors gave her six months to live. My mother lived for another a year and half. Changing her diet and lifestyle is how she fought the cancer and what prolonged her time here with us. She never once gave up. Through chemotherapy & the experimental drugs she still attended every event her children had. She even came from ICU, in a wheelchair, to my brother’s senior parent night.

What Is Your Favorite Sound?

My favorite sound is the sound of rain. It is so soothing and calming.

What Project Would A Laptop Help You With?

My Project is “Cindy’s Cause.” As a struggling college student myself, I know how hard it can be to afford healthy meals. Through Cindy’s Cause “C2”, we offer monthly cooking calendars for students on a budget, and for people on the go. We teach others how to grocery shop, how to cook for diabetics, and how to cook on a budget.

How Would A Laptop Help You?

A laptop would help me be able to build a website. I want to spread the word about this wonderful organization that I am building. I want others to be able to read about it and understand our purpose and our mission. With a computer, I would be able to better respond to emails and requests.

What do you love about this project?

What I love about this project is seeing the growth in others and helping them discover the core strength within that survives all hurt. So many people tell me that I inspired them, but they still did not know how to change their lifestyle. This project does just that.

What Languages do you speak?

English.

Given a choice, would you prefer a Mac or PC?
