Short Description Of Project

DFI is a Christian-faith based non-profit organization. The primary objectives of DFI are to reach out to the needs of women and children, while creating the means to help them gain financial independence and spiritual freedom.

In Haiti, education and employment opportunities are very limited. Many cannot afford textbooks and do not know how to use Internet to do research. As a result, a lot of children cannot discover their innate skills and/or cultivate their full potential to learn.

How Would A Laptop Help You?

Through the courses we are creating, which are open to the community of Delmas, they will learn at an early age how to process individual, academic & organizational data, express themselves, network, and make use of the modern technology to acquire knowledge. Our course offerings will be in basic word processing, file transfers, Excel and Powerpoint as well as graphic design and technical courses.
