Despite being very poor, my mother starved herself for us, worked hard, and changed our lives by sending us to the Hope Kolkata Foundation.

What project would a laptop help you with? Give a short description.

I want to help educate my neighbors who have no access to the Internet. I also want a laptop to help with my own college notes, computer presentation, and study projects.

The slums where I used to live were filled with poverty and negativity. People used dirty language, and behaved badly towards children and young girls. No one had a good attitude, and it was a terrible life.

I’ll use my computer to research and create educational presentations and videos to show to my community. Step by step, I want to teach them how to improve their living conditions and change to a more positive attitude.

What do you love about this project?

It is very difficult, but through doing computer research and presenting it, I can change people’s mindsets for the better.
