I am very passionate about technology and programming.
Who Is Your Hero? Why?
My all-time hero is my Mom. I’ve learned to be independent, confident and to follow my passion from her. The world of science & technology lacks female role models. She has inspired me from the very beginning when I started to dream.
What Is Your Favorite Sound?
My favorite sound is the Tibetan incantations. This sound, with its spiritual feeling, refreshes the mind and soul each time I listen to it.
What Project Would A Laptop Help You With?
A laptop will be very helpful in our project “Children Go Coding”, which teaches coding & programming to children 8-15 years old. Gender disparities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education beginning at this age are the root causes of the existing gender gap in this field. Our other program is “Women in STEM”, which educates young girls and women of all ages. We need laptops to run classes in different programming languages like Android, Java, PHP, Python etc.
How Would A Laptop Help You?
The laptops will help us hold classes for more children, without making several children share one computer. That way nobody needs to wait to participate. With these laptops we can bring classes to a wider mass of children and change more lives.
What do you love about this project?
I love that it focuses on the root causes of gender disparity in the STEM field. We are hopeful that our impact will grow and five years down the line, our students will go pursue STEM subjects and create innovations and inventions.

Nepali, English.
