Jean Pierre Leno

30 – Conakry, Guinea

What Are You Most Passionate About?

Changing the lives of the people of Guinea. I believe this is best achieved by empowering people to find their own solutions to problems.  This is the reason I coach and train young Guineans in entrepreneurship. It is my goal to inspire young people to have courage to start their own businesses & give them the knowledge it takes to do it.

Who is someone who inspires you?

Barack Obama, with his famous slogan “YES we can”. He proved that nothing is impossible and that every dream can be a reality.  He motivates me to go beyond my limits and achieve great things.

What Is Your Favorite Sound?

Israel IZ’s “Somewhere over the rainbow”.

What Project would a laptop help you with?

This computer will be used as part of my activities with Dare to Innovate which is an organization that works for the reduction of poverty and unemployment through the creation of small businesses. For my part, I travel across the country training and coaching young entrepreneurs.

How Would A Laptop Help You?

It would help me in the training these agents of change.  I would use it to write reports and follow-up with the young active entrepreneurs in the community.

What do you love about this project?

With this project, I participate in the development of my country. I bring my contribution by putting my experience to the benefit of young people to bring about change in the community. There is more joy to give than to receive.
