I am passionate about creating a violence-free world where women are empowered and treated as equals.
Who Is Your Hero? Why?
Kiran Bedi. She is the first female police officer who showed me that being a woman is an honor and a pride. She devoted herself completely for the betterment of society and brought many changes to our city.
What Is Your Favorite Sound?
Rock and disco.
What Project Would A Laptop Help You With?
My project is dedicated to women who are victims of domestic violence and abuse. With a laptop, I could make informative presentations which educate women on their rights and life skills while also pointing them to public assistance. My goal is to help these women to lead normal lives again.
How Would A Laptop Help You?
It would help me attain more knowledge on counseling techniques. I the internet has a lot to offer, for example statistical information like numbers on violence against women occurring around the world or what other institutions are doing to tackle it.
What do you love about this project?
When I have an impact, I spark a small ray of hope in any of my clients. I feel like this was what I was born to do.
