What Project Would A Laptop Help You With?

Opening an Internet Café.

Short Description Of Project

My village has 24/7 electricity, a rarity in Guinea. We also have lots of students who live here during the school year to attend the near by University. Despite these two assets, we do not have an Internet Café to help bring information and computer skills to Koliagbe. I have studied computers and am excited to pass along my knowledge!

I got married at age 14, but after years of abuse, I did what few Guinean have the courage to do. I left my husband. I now support my two children on my own. I work as a preschool teacher, but I am not paid regularly. Opening a Cyber Café in Koliagbe would allow me to supplement my income to support my children, while at the same time allow the people of Koliagbe to learn skills necessary to life and work in the 21st century.
